I am an audiologist and we are planning on using your chair to put our patients in while they are seeing the technicians or if we need to remove wax from their ears. We need to be able to raise them up in order to safely get down into their ears and to protect our technicians backs who are currently bending over for many patients. I was excited to see that your chair has a wider seat with the removable armrest for some of our larger patients comfort. The arm in addition to the rotating footrest is going to be amazing for safety issues that pop up with patients getting in and out of standard exam chairs. In general our population is older in the VA and have multiple physical limitations that affect agility, so it will be nice to be able to make them feel safe and comfortable while uncomfortable procedures are being completed.
